NetworkHD 200 encoder overview
The WyreStorm NHD-200-TX encodes DVI and analogue stereo audio into an H.264 stream at 1920×1200 and 60 Hz. It connects through a 10/100Base-T RJ-45 port that also accepts IEEE 802.3af PoE. Power draw is approximately 6 W from a 12 V DC supply. The unit is compact and can be rack or wall mounted.
Suitable for video wall installs.
Integrators building distributed video walls over standard Ethernet will find the encoder fits the 1920×1200 requirement. Buyers who need 4K or higher input resolutions should look elsewhere. The single DVI-I input and stereo audio limit multi-source switching. Latency ranges from 6090 ms to 250300 ms depending on mode.
1920×1200 60 Hz encoding limit
The maximum supported resolution is 1920×1200 at 60 Hz with a pixel clock up to 150 MHz. Sources exceeding this resolution or refresh rate cannot be encoded. The H.264 codec operates at a configurable bitrate up to 230 Mb/s. HDCP 1.4 compliance protects compliant content.

Questions about this item
What resolution and frame rate does the 10/100Base-T link actually sustain?
The encoder streams 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz over the 10/100Base-T port using H.264 with a configurable bitrate up to 230 Mb/s.
Which connectors must my source and display cables match?
You need a 24-pin DVI-I cable for video and a 3.5 mm TRS plug for stereo line-in audio; the unit outputs via RJ-45 and a 3-pin Phoenix audio block.
How do I power the encoder without a separate mains adapter?
Connect the RJ-45 to an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch; the encoder draws about 6 W and requires no 12 V DC supply when PoE is active.
