SKU CH-DYV6-BQSRC

1/2AA 3.6V 1.2Ah lithium-thionyl-chloride cell with T2 pins for long-term industrial power

  • Product typeBatteries
  • 6 V nominal voltage delivers stable power
  • 2 Ah capacity at 1 mA supports long-term use
  • Continuous 30 mA and pulse 60 mA handle peak loads
  • Operates from -55 °C to +85 °C in harsh environments
  • 1/2 AA ER14252 form factor fits standard holders

Industrial Power Cell

The Xeno Energy XL-050F/T2 is a primary lithium thionyl chloride cell built for industrial and long-term deployments. It suits metering, alarm, and remote-monitoring equipment that requires a stable 3.6V supply over years of continuous service.

Current and Temperature Limits

Continuous draw is capped at 30mA with pulse allowance up to 60mA. The cell operates reliably from -55C to +85C, making it viable for outdoor and harsh-environment installations where rechargeable chemistries would fail.

Pin Configuration Decides Fit

Two PC pins in the T2 layout determine whether the cell mates with the target PCB. Verify the footprint before ordering; the 1/2AA form factor alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1/2AA or ER14252 version of this battery?

They are the same cell — 1/2AA is the ANSI size and ER14252 is the IEC designation.

What does the 1.2Ah capacity mean for a device drawing 1mA at 20°C?

At that load and temperature the cell is rated to deliver 1.2Ah down to a 2.0V cut-off.

What does the 30mA continuous and 60mA pulse current limit mean in practice?

The cell can sustain 30mA continuously and handle short 60mA pulses; exceeding these limits will reduce voltage and capacity.
