A 3.6 V 1/2 AA lithium cell delivering 850 mAh with a ten-year shelf life and operation from -55 °C to +130 °C

  • Battery type1/2 AA Lithium
  • High 3.6 V voltage stays stable through most of the life
  • 850 mAh capacity among the highest available for this size
  • Shelf life exceeds 10 years with under 1 % yearly self-discharge
  • Operates reliably from -55 °C to +130 °C
  • Non-flammable inorganic electrolyte improves safety in demanding environments

Xeno XL-050H 3.6V Lithium Cell

The Xeno XL-050H is a 3.6V 1/2 AA lithium primary cell rated at 850mAh. It suits metering, alarm, tracking and industrial sensor devices that need a long-life, non-rechargeable power source.

Capacity and continuous load limits

The cell delivers a nominal 0.8Ah capacity with a maximum recommended continuous current of 10mA. High operating voltage remains stable through most of the discharge curve, while low self-discharge preserves capacity for 10+ years of storage at 20°C. It runs out when continuous draw exceeds 10mA or when pulse demands surpass the unspecified maximum pulse capability.

Button-top termination and cross-references

A button-top termination ensures positive contact in standard 1/2 AA holders. The datasheet lists direct compatibility with Tadiran TL-4902, TL-2150, TL-5101, TL-5111, TL-5151, TL-5902, Saft LS-14250 and LS-14250c, Toshiba ER3v, Sonnenschein SL-350/S, SL-750/S, SL-150/S and generic 14250 cells.

Questions about this item

Will the 14.5 mm diameter and 25.2 mm height fit the 1/2 AA slot in my existing meter?

Yes, the cell measures 14.5 mm diameter by 25.2 mm height, matching the standard 1/2 AA form factor used in most meters.

How can I confirm the 3.6 V output is stable after installation?

Measure the open-circuit voltage with a multimeter; a fresh cell should read at or near 3.6 V and remain steady under a 10 mA load.

Does the package include any solder tabs or a holder, or just the bare button-top cell?

Only the bare button-top lithium cell is supplied; tabs, holders or wiring must be sourced separately.
