Xeno Energy

Xeno Energy XL-060F 3.6V AA 2.4Ah Lithium Battery with Tabs

SKU CH-6S8W-Y8XH1

3.6 V AA lithium cell delivering 2.4 Ah with solder tabs for long-life industrial devices

  • Battery typeAA
  • High operating voltage of 3.6 V maintained through most of the service life
  • 4 Ah capacity among the highest available for AA lithium cells
  • Shelf life exceeds 10 years with less than 1 % loss per year at 20 °C
  • Operates reliably from -55 °C to +85 °C in humid conditions
  • Non-rechargeable design with tabs for direct soldering in industrial equipment

Application fit

The Xeno Energy XL-060F is a 3.6 V AA lithium primary cell with welded tabs for direct PCB mounting. It suits long-life, low-drain devices such as utility meters, alarm panels and remote sensors where replacement access is difficult.

Replacement scope

It replaces Tadiran TL-2100, TL-4903, TL-5104, TL-5903, Saft LS-14500, SL-760, Toshiba ER6V, ER6LV, Maxell ER6, Sonnenschein SL-360 and ER6C cells. The jump is worth it when a design needs the 2.4 Ah capacity and 10-year shelf life in a single AA footprint.

Interface limits

The tab termination requires brief soldering to avoid heat damage and the cell must not be recharged. Continuous current is limited to 60 mA with 120 mA pulses, so it cannot support high-drain or pulse-heavy loads.

Questions about this item

What tab termination style does the Xeno XL-060F use for soldering?

The battery has tabs on both ends. Soldering must be completed in a few seconds to avoid heat damage.

How do I install the Xeno XL-060F without damaging the non-flammable inorganic electrolyte?

Solder the tabs quickly, within a few seconds. Do not attempt to recharge the cell and never mix it with different battery models in series.

What storage conditions maximise the 10+ year shelf life of the Xeno XL-060F?

Store in a clean, cool, dry, ventilated area not exceeding +30 °C. Self-discharge is less than 1% per year at +20 °C.
