Genuine Black Toner for WorkCentre 5855 5875 5890

This genuine Xerox black toner cartridge is built for the WorkCentre 5855, 5875 and 5890 multifunction printers. It delivers original-equipment print quality for offices that rely on consistent monochrome output. The cartridge ships new in a single pack. Buyers with other printer models or colour printing needs cannot use this cartridge.

Print Quality and Yield

The cartridge is rated for 110000 pages of black output under standard test conditions. Genuine formulation reduces streaks and background toner scatter during long print runs. No thermal, noise or power figures apply to a toner supply unit.

Replaces Empty OEM Cartridge in Same Series

This cartridge replaces an empty 006R01730 or 6R1730 unit in the listed WorkCentre devices. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current cartridge reaches end of life and print quality drops. It does not add capacity beyond the rated yield or enable features the printer does not support.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 006R01730 cartridge in my WorkCentre 5855 and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull the old cartridge straight out, shake the new 006R01730 gently five times, remove the orange protective seal completely, then slide it in until it clicks — many forget to pull the seal off before inserting.

What part will need replacement after the 110000-page yield is reached on the 006R01730?

The cartridge itself is the only replaceable supply; once it reaches its rated 110000 pages you simply install a new 006R01730 — no separate drum or waste container is required for this model.

What limit appears first during long print runs with the 006R01730 in a WorkCentre 5890?

The toner supply runs out at the rated 110000 pages; the printer will then prompt for a fresh 006R01730 cartridge before you can continue printing.
