Rated yield of 28000 pages determines fit

The declared approximate page yield is 28000 pages, which is the key figure for planning supply cycles. If your monthly volume far exceeds or falls well short of this range, a different capacity cartridge may suit better. Always verify the model number against your device before ordering.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 006R01771 cartridge in my AltaLink B8155, and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, pull out the used black cartridge, unpack the new 006R01771, rock it gently five or six times to distribute toner evenly, remove the sealing tape completely, slide the cartridge in until it clicks, then close the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will the 006R01771 need after it reaches its 28000 page yield?

When print density fades or the printer signals low toner, replace the 006R01771 with a new genuine Xerox black cartridge; no separate drum or developer unit change is required for this supply item.

What limit appears first during a long print run with the 006R01771 in an AltaLink B8170?

The 28000 page rated yield is the first limit; once reached, toner depletion causes fading output and the printer will prompt for a fresh cartridge.
