Genuine Xerox Cyan Developer Unit

This genuine Xerox cyan developer unit carries model number 5R738 and is supplied new in a single carton. It is designed for the DocuColor 7002, 8002 and 8080 Digital Presses. Print shops and in-house production teams needing reliable cyan output for high-volume laser workflows will find it a direct fit.

Sustained high-volume output

The unit is rated for an approximate yield of 400000 pages, supporting long production runs without frequent replacement. Laser developer technology maintains consistent toner adhesion and colour density across extended print jobs. This stability reduces downtime for press operators managing continuous colour workloads.

Build and daily handling

Packaged one per carton, the developer unit arrives ready for installation in compatible DocuColor presses. Its form factor matches the press developer stations, so technicians can swap units during scheduled maintenance without special tools. The cyan colour coding prevents accidental cross-loading with other colour stations.

Questions about this item

Does the Xerox 5R738 cyan developer unit add noticeable heat or fan noise during long print runs on a DocuColor 8002?

The developer unit is a consumable supply, not a powered component, so it does not generate heat or noise; any thermal output comes from the press itself.

Which Xerox digital presses must I already own for the 5R738 cyan developer to be compatible?

The unit is designed for the DocuColor 7002, 8002 and 8080 digital presses; it will not fit other models.

Can I keep using my existing DocuColor 7002 toner cartridges when I install the new 5R738 cyan developer?

Yes, the developer unit works alongside the standard toner cartridges already used in the DocuColor 7002, 8002 and 8080 presses.
