XEROX IBT Belt Cleaner 001R00593 for WorkCentre 7232 7242

Compatible Printer Models

The Xerox IBT Belt Cleaner 001R00593 is designed specifically for the WorkCentre 7232 and 7242 printers. It serves as a genuine maintenance component to keep this equipment operating efficiently. Offices relying on these models for daily document output will find this part essential for sustained operation. It is not suited for users of other printer families or those needing toner or drum units instead.

Operational Behaviour Under Load

This cleaner works continuously during printing cycles to maintain the Intermediate Belt Transfer system. By removing residual toner and debris, it prevents image defects that typically appear during high-volume runs. Consistent use ensures that print quality remains stable across long jobs rather than degrading after the first few hundred pages. It does not increase print speed or resolve mechanical faults unrelated to belt contamination.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

The unit is a passive mechanical component with no motor, fan or electrical draw of its own. It adds no audible noise or heat to the printer beyond the machine’s normal operating profile. Installation simply replaces the used cleaner inside the existing maintenance bay. No additional power supply capacity or cooling consideration is required for this part.
