Off-Camera Flash Cord 7.5 ft

This Xit Group XTSCO cord stretches to 7.5 feet to position a flash unit away from the camera. It connects via the ISO shoe for total dedication between digital or film camera and flash. The heavy duty wiring supports reliable triggering for Olympus systems. A built-in tripod socket at the flash end allows flexible mounting options.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your camera and flash both use a standard ISO hot-shoe connection before ordering. Ensure the flash unit accepts a 1/4"-20 socket for the cord's shoe mount. The cord is designed for Olympus equipment so confirm brand compatibility with your specific model. No additional power source or wireless trigger is required for operation.

Build Integration

The shoe mount on the flash connection end includes a 1/4"-20 socket for attaching to light stands or brackets. The opposite end features a built-in tripod socket to secure the flash unit directly. This wired link frees you from line-of-sight limitations of optical slaves and eliminates radio interference. It adds 20 inches of reach when retracted and extends fully for dramatic lighting angles.

Questions about this item

Does the Xit XTSCO cord include the flash unit or camera, or do I need to buy them separately?

The Xit XTSCO is only the connecting cord; you must supply your own Olympus camera and compatible flash unit.

The product name lists 7.5 ft — is that the only length available for this model?

Yes, the XTSCO model stretches to 7.5 feet and no other length is offered for this specific cord.

How does the 7.5 ft reach change lighting compared with a shoe-mounted flash?

The 7.5 ft extension lets you position the flash away from the lens axis, reducing red-eye and harsh shadows while enabling dramatic side or bounce lighting.
