Desktop audio for everyday use

The XKX XKX126 is a 2.0 speaker system rated at 10 watts total output. It draws power from a 5 volt USB connection and includes a USB-C adapter for newer ports. Touch controls on the top panel handle volume and mute. The compact bar measures 2.0 in x 8.4 in x 2.8 in and weighs .59 kilograms.

USB power and stereo limits

Because the system is bus-powered, maximum volume and bass response are constrained by the 5 volt supply. The 2.0 configuration provides left and right channels without a separate subwoofer, so low-frequency extension remains modest. The supplier notes the exclusive bass-boosting port improves bass energy by about 50 percent over a traditional passive radiator within the same cavity space.

Compact build with broad compatibility

The black enclosure houses dual 2-inch super-magnetic full-range drivers behind a front grille. A hi-definition DSP decoding chip processes digital audio from the USB link without compression. The bundled USB-C to USB adapter extends compatibility to USB-C laptops, tablets and desktops running Windows 7 through 11, macOS, ChromeOS or Linux. Buyers who want more output, a dedicated subwoofer or wireless streaming will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 10 W stereo pair or a single 2.0 channel soundbar for desktop use?

The XKX126 is a 2.0 stereo pair rated at 10 W total, giving you left and right channels for wider imaging than a single soundbar.

How loud and clear is 10 W over USB power in everyday use?

Dual 2‑inch drivers deliver 10 W from a 5 V USB port, keeping stereo imaging clean at high volume for movies, music and gaming.

Does the USB‑C adapter limit audio quality or power compared to the native USB‑A connection?

The included USB‑C to USB‑A adapter passes the same 5 V supply and digital audio, so output stays at 10 W with the DSP decoding intact.
