Portable 147-Inch Screen

The XREAL xbx a01+ projects a private 147-inch-equivalent display from a 62-gram wearable. A SeeYa 0.6-inch Micro OLED delivers 1600 nits of eye brightness, 6000 nits of screen brightness, and a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio with HDR10 support. Connectivity uses a single USB-C cable with DisplayPort Alt Mode for compatible phones, tablets, handhelds, and laptops.

Travelers Seeking Private Big-Screen Viewing

Commuters and frequent flyers gain a cinema-scale workspace or entertainment screen that fits in a pocket. The spatial stabilization feature keeps the image steady during movement on supported 120Hz devices. Buyers who need standalone operation, built-in batteries, or wireless streaming should look elsewhere, as the glasses draw all power and video from the host over USB-C.

1080p at 120Hz With 50-Degree Field of View

The optical engine covers a 50-degree field of view at up to 1920x1080 resolution in 2D mode or 3840x1080 in 3D mode, refreshing at up to 120Hz. High-frequency PWM dimming up to 3840Hz reduces flicker for extended sessions. Demands beyond 1080p per eye, wider fields of view, or host devices without DisplayPort Alt Mode exceed what this hardware can deliver.

Questions about this item

Which devices can drive the 147-inch Micro-OLED display through its USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode connection?

The glasses work with iPhone, iPad, Steam Deck, ROG Ally and PCs that support USB-C video output. No battery or app is required; video and phase-cancellation audio stream over the single cable.

Will the 120Hz spatial stabilization stay active when I connect the glasses to a 60Hz laptop?

Spatial stabilization only activates on devices that output at 120Hz. At 60Hz the feature is unavailable, but the 50-degree field of view and up to 1920x1080 resolution remain.

How can I confirm the 1600-nit HDR10 picture and 120Hz refresh rate are active after plugging in?

Play HDR10 content and check your source device's display settings — it should report 1920x1080 at 120Hz. The image will appear steady during head movement when spatial stabilization is engaged.
