Ceiling Fan Pull Chain

The Xspot products Pull Chain Flying Bird Hummingbird is a decorative accessory for standard ceiling fans. It replaces a plain cord with a wooden hummingbird on a metal bead chain. The piece adds a whimsical accent to living rooms, bedrooms or covered porches. It suits anyone wanting a small visual upgrade without rewiring.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your fan uses a standard pull-chain switch with a small hole or loop for attachment. The included metal bead chain must fit through that opening. Ensure the existing chain is removable and that the new Old Chicago finish matches your fixture hardware. No electrical work is required for the swap.

Thermal Noise Power

The pull chain has no motor, electronics or moving parts beyond the beads, so it generates no heat and draws zero power. Operation is completely silent apart from the light click of the switch mechanism. The wooden bird and metal chain remain at room temperature during normal use.

Questions about this item

Is the Old Chicago finish the only colour option for this hummingbird chain?

Yes, the chain and hummingbird are offered solely in the Old Chicago gray finish shown in the specifications.

How much length does the metal bead chain add below the fan switch?

The bead chain extends the pull point by roughly the length of the chain plus the hummingbird, giving a comfortable grip without hanging too low.
