What it is and who it's for

The Wilson Jones Slide-Bar Expanding File Jacket with CD Holder is a durable polypropylene folder that expands up to 5.25 inches. It converts from a hanging file to a portable folder by retracting the hooks and inverting the tab. The water-resistant material protects documents and a built-in CD pocket stores electronic media. It suits office workers and students who need flexible, secure document transport.

What to check before ordering

Verify that your filing cabinet or drawer accommodates an expansion depth of 5.25 inches when the jacket is full. Confirm that hanging rails are compatible with the retractable hook system for suspended storage. Ensure the CD pocket dimensions match the specific media formats you intend to carry. No other hardware or software compatibility checks are required for this accessory.

Durability, protection and daily use

The polypropylene construction provides water resistance to shield contents from spills or humidity during daily handling. The slide-bar mechanism allows smooth conversion between hanging and portable modes without snagging or tearing the folder. The integrated CD pocket keeps discs secure alongside paper files.
