Yale 5400LN Passage Lever Lockset

The Yale 5400LN is a Grade 1 passage lever lockset built for commercial doors. It uses a curved Pacific Beach lever style made from heavy-gauge steel with a dull chrome 626 finish. The lock fits doors 1-3/4 In. to 2-1/4 In. thick with a 2-3/4 In. backset.

Grade 1 capacity and fire-rated headroom

Certified to ANSI 117.1 and UL listed for three-hour fire doors, this lockset meets the highest residential and commercial durability standard. It handles high-traffic interior passages where a keyed entry is not required. The mechanical latch retraction has no electronic components to fail.

Replaces lower-grade passage hardware

This unit upgrades from Grade 2 or ungraded tubular levers when code demands Grade 1 cycle life and fire rating. The jump is worth it for corridors, stairwells and tenant spaces that need a UL-listed curved-lip strike. It does not suit buyers who need keyed security or electrified access control.
