This Yale CA4605 630 knob lockset is a Grade 2 mechanical cylindrical lock designed for commercial storeroom doors. It operates with a key from the outside and a fixed interior knob, so the outside remains locked at all times. The heavy-gauge steel ball knob and satin stainless steel finish suit high-traffic metal or wood door installations. It carries a three-hour fire rating and meets ANSI A156.2 standards.

Suited for always-locked exterior doors

The storeroom function fits doors that must stay secured from the outside while allowing free egress from inside, such as storage rooms, utility closets or server rooms. It is not for offices or classrooms that need push-button locking from the interior, nor for residential entry where a thumbturn or privacy function is preferred. The Yale Para keyway and nickel-silver keys work with existing Yale master-key systems but will not match other keyway families.

Grade 2 commercial duty
