Compact wireless speaker for streaming music

The MusicCast 20 is a compact wireless speaker designed for streaming music throughout the home. It suits listeners who want multi-room audio without running speaker cables. The minimalist black cabinet fits on a shelf or can be wall-mounted. It is not for buyers who need a built-in battery for portable use outside the home.

5.1-channel surround expansion and stereo pairing

A single unit handles stereo playback for a small room, while two speakers can be paired for wider separation. The system also integrates as wireless surround channels with a compatible MusicCast AV receiver to complete a 5.1 CH home-theatre setup. It runs out of headroom when asked to fill very large open-plan spaces without additional MusicCast components.

Alexa voice control via Echo devices

The speaker responds to voice commands through any Amazon Echo device using the MusicCast and Smart Home skills. This allows hands-free playback, room linking and volume adjustment without the MusicCast app. Buyers who do not own or want an Alexa-enabled device will not benefit from this control method.
