48" x 36" Clear PVC Chair Mat
This transparent mat protects hardwood, tile and vinyl floors from caster damage while allowing smooth chair movement. It covers 12 square feet and includes an extended lip that slides under the desk for added foot support.
Hard-floor only, rolled delivery
The mat is designed exclusively for hard surfaces and cannot be used on carpet. It arrives rolled in soft PVC that resists cracking; after unrolling it must be laid flat, matte side up, and may need 1 to 2 days under weight to remove residual curl.
Replaces smaller or cracked mats
Buyers with worn polycarbonate mats or undersized pads gain a larger, odour-free PVC surface that stays in place without curling. It is not suited for carpeted floors or for users who need a rigid, instantly flat panel straight from the box.

Questions about this item
What size should I choose between the 48"×36" and the 48"×60" mat?
The 48"×36" model covers 12 sq ft and fits standard office chairs with an extended lip that tucks under the desk; the 48"×60" version gives you extra depth if your desk sits further back.
How does the 12 sq ft coverage work once the mat is on my hardwood floor?
It protects a 48" by 36" rectangle of hardwood, tile or vinyl, letting casters glide on the low-friction matte surface without sinking or scratching.
What floor types does the PVC construction actually support?
The soft PVC mat is designed only for hard floors — hardwood, tile and vinyl — and cannot be used on carpet.
