Questions about this item

Will the spray-coated steel basket need any recoating or rust treatment over time?

The steel has a spray coating that resists rust and corrosion, so no recoating is required under normal indoor use.

What stops me from loading more than 44 lbs into the 11 by 8 11/16 by 5 1/8 inch basket?

The load capacity is rated at 44 lbs; exceeding it risks bending the steel or stripping the mounting screws.

Does the basket add noticeable heat or noise when the cart runs all day?

The basket is passive steel with no electronics, so it generates no heat or noise regardless of how long the cart operates.
