Converts RCA composite video to 720P or 1080P HDMI with a 4:3 and 16:9 aspect-ratio switch for retro consoles and legacy players
The YGiTK A-H8 converts analogue RCA composite signals from legacy consoles such as the Wii, PS2, PS1 and N64 into a digital HDMI output at 720P or 1080P. It lets owners of classic hardware play on modern televisions that no longer include composite inputs. The adapter is intended for anyone who wants to revisit older game libraries or watch archived tapes without hunting for a period-correct CRT display.
A physical toggle selects between 4:3 and 16:9 output, preventing the stretched image common with basic scalers. The package includes a 5V USB cable that powers the unit from any convenient port on the TV or a standard charger, so no separate mains adapter is required. This combination means the converter works immediately after the three cables are connected, with no driver installation or on-screen configuration.
The housing is small and light enough to sit behind a television stand or hang from a mounted screen without adding strain to the HDMI port. RCA inputs accept the standard red, white and yellow plugs found on consoles, VCRs and DVD players, while the single HDMI output carries both upscaled video and audio to the display. No additional cables or adapters are needed for typical living-room setups.

The converter draws power from the supplied 5 V USB cable; if the cable frays or the port loosens, any standard USB-A to micro-USB lead rated for 5 V will work as a replacement.
Output is capped at 1080P or 720P, so the converter cannot scale beyond 1080 lines regardless of how long it runs.
The fanless, compact enclosure stays silent; it warms slightly under continuous operation but has no moving parts to generate audible noise.
