Questions about this item

How do I install the DX5 UV ink damper on my Epson 4880 and which step is often missed?

Remove the old damper, insert the new one onto the DX5 print head inlet, and secure the retaining clip; the step most people miss is pressing the clip until it clicks to prevent air bubbles.

When will the DX5 UV ink damper on my Epson 7800 need replacement?

Replace the damper when ink flow becomes inconsistent, colours shift, or after every major print-head cleaning cycle to maintain reliable UV ink delivery.
