Dual-Frequency RFID USB Reader
The YINGHUA reader scans both 125KHz and 13.56MHz proximity cards for access-control systems. It connects through a standard USB port and draws power directly from the bus so no external supply is needed. The device works as a plug-and-play keyboard emulator on Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Windows 7 without installing drivers. It suits installers who need a simple enrolment station for door-entry credentials.
USB Interface Limits 5V 106Kbit/s
Communication runs at 106Kbit/s over the USB link and the unit requires a 5V supply within a five-per-cent tolerance. Cards must be presented within five to eight centimetres for a reliable read. The reader outputs only the first ten decimal digits of the card by default; the last eight digits are available only on special request. Operating temperature spans minus ten to seventy degrees Celsius.
Check OS and Card Format Before Buying
Verify that the target computer runs one of the listed Windows versions because driverless operation is not guaranteed on newer releases. Confirm that your credentials use 125KHz or 13.56MHz technology and that the ten-digit decimal output matches the access-control software expectations. The reader does not support other frequencies or card encodings. Ensure the USB port can deliver the required five-volt power within tolerance.

Questions about this item
Should I choose the 125kHz, 13.56MHz or dual-frequency version for my cards?
Select the version that matches your card frequency; the dual-frequency model reads both 125kHz and 13.56MHz cards with a single device.
What does the 106Kbit/s communication speed mean for daily use?
It sets the data rate between reader and PC; card IDs appear on screen almost instantly after a tap at 5–8cm range.
How does the USB interface limit cable length or power?
The reader draws 5V from the USB port so no external supply is needed; keep the cable within standard USB length limits for reliable operation.
