13.56 MHz RFID USB Reader
This 13.56 MHz RFID reader connects via USB and reads Mifare S50 and S70 cards at up to 8 cm distance. It works driver-free on Windows, Linux and Android, outputting the card number directly into any text field. The device draws 70 mA from a 5 V supply and includes a 1.5 m cable.
Metal Housing with Integrated Buzzer and LED
The reader measures 9.7 by 6.1 by 1 cm and weighs 50 g, housed in a metal shell suited to indoor mounting. A built-in buzzer and LED give immediate audible and visual confirmation of each successful read. The fixed 1.5 m USB cable determines placement relative to the host computer or OTG-capable phone.
Replaces Stand-Alone Keypads or Proprietary Modules
It upgrades installations that currently rely on keypad codes or closed-protocol readers by adding standard 14443A card support without new wiring. The jump is worthwhile when you need plug-and-play enrolment across Windows 98 through Windows 8, Linux or Android and can accept the 1.5 m cable reach.
