Compatible ADF Cover Cassette

This ADF cover cassette replaces the original part on several WorkCentre and B-series multifunction printers. It fits the 1260, 1265, 3225, 3315 and 3325 models. The component restores proper document feeding when the original cover is cracked or missing. Offices and home users with these specific machines can return their scanner to normal operation.

Passive mechanical part

The cassette has no motor, fan or electronic circuitry, so it produces no noise and draws no power. It does not generate heat during scanning or copying tasks. Installation requires only opening the ADF and snapping the replacement into place. No thermal management or power-supply consideration is needed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ADF cover cassette on my WorkCentre 3315, and which alignment tab is commonly missed?

Slide the cassette into the ADF unit until the side tabs click into the chassis slots; the rear locking tab often stays unlatched if you push only the front edge.

What part of the ADF cover cassette on the B1260 will need replacement after heavy use?

The plastic hinge pins and the feed-roller tension spring inside the cassette wear first; replace the whole cassette when document feeding becomes inconsistent.
