This rainproof cover is designed specifically for the YINGHUA B03 RFID access control keypad. It shields the reader and keypad from weather when the unit is mounted outdoors. The cover fits the 120mm by 78mm by 22mm device dimensions. It is intended for installers who need to protect an already purchased B03 controller at an exposed entrance.

Weather Protection Under Continuous Exposure

The metal cover deflects rain and moisture away from the keypad surface and card reader aperture. It allows the access control to keep functioning across the specified operating range of minus 10 to plus 60 degrees Celsius and in relative humidity from 20 to 90 percent. The shield does not alter the 125KHz or 13.56MHz reading performance at distances up to 10cm.

Mounting Surface and Clearance Check

Verify that the wall or door frame provides a flat area at least 120mm wide and 78mm high for the keypad body. Ensure there is enough depth clearance for the 22mm thick unit plus the cover projection. Confirm the existing wiring can reach the DC12V supply terminals without strain. The cover adds no electrical connections of its own.
