The YINGHUA BC40 operates as a self-contained access control unit for entrances, requiring no computer connection to manage credentials. It supports up to 8000 user cards and passwords with full programming handled directly on the keypad. The device reads 125KHz RFID transponders and offers card, password or combined verification modes. A management card function simplifies administration for residential or commercial entry points.

Integration with Locks and Exit Hardware

The unit provides active and passive lock signal outputs plus an imported double-point relay rated at 12VDC 2A to drive electric strikes or magnetic locks. WG26 and WG34 input and output ports allow connection to external readers or controllers. A dedicated terminal for an external release button enables standard exit-button wiring. The metal case includes a backlit touch panel and doorbell button for visitor use.

Environmental Durability and Continuous Operation

Rated for ambient temperatures from -20 to 70 Celsius and humidity up to 95 percent, the waterproof housing is designed to prevent ingress through rear cable openings. The controller draws power from a DC12V supply and maintains a low quiescent current during idle periods. Relay contacts and the built-in reader are specified for sustained daily cycling without requiring a host PC or scheduled downtime.
