Compatible Printer Models

Installation and Common Issues

The kit serves as a direct replacement for the original capping station cap top. Installation requires accessing the printer maintenance area and seating the assembly onto the printhead carriage. Misalignment during fitting can prevent a proper seal and lead to ink leakage or incomplete head cleaning.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the capping station is sealing the DX5 printhead correctly after installation?

Run a nozzle check on the Mutoh JV33 or CJV30; a clean pattern with no missing lines shows the cap top is holding vacuum and wiping the DX5 head properly.

Which parts come in the kit and what must I source separately for a JV34 eco-solvent printer?

The kit includes the capping station assembly and cap top for DX5/DX7 heads; you will need to supply cleaning solution, lint-free wipes and any mounting screws not reused from the old unit.
