50 Small Ink Dampers for DX4 DX5 Printheads
This pack contains 50 replacement dampers built for DX4 and DX5 printheads. They suit wide-format printers such as Roland SP540, Mutoh RJ900, Formimaki JV3, and Epson R1800, R1900 and 1390 models. Each unit includes the damper and its securing nut for direct installation.
Large Filter Area Handles Compatible Inks
The PE-bodied dampers use an imported large-area filter structure that maintains good fluidity with eco-solvent, dye, pigment and thermal-transfer inks. The design resists clogging and corrosion to extend nozzle life. Flow will become restricted once the filter saturates with particulate or dried ink residue.
Fits 3 by 2 Small Connector Printheads
Installation requires a printhead equipped with the 3 by 2 small connector used on the listed Roland, Mutoh, Formimaki and Epson machines. The supplied nuts secure the damper to the printhead inlet, freeing the ink path from air bubbles and pressure fluctuations during long print runs.

Questions about this item
Will these DX4 DX5 dampers fit the printhead on my older Roland SP540 without changing any fittings?
Yes, the dampers are made for DX4 and DX5 printheads used in the Roland SP540, Mutoh RJ900 and Formimaki JV3, so they connect directly to the existing small connector on those heads.
How can I confirm the dampers are filtering ink correctly after I install them?
After installation run a nozzle check; a clean, uninterrupted pattern shows the PE filter is passing ink freely and not plugging the nozzles.
What exactly comes in the 50-piece pack and is any extra hardware needed?
The box contains 50 small ink dampers with nuts included; no additional parts are required for the listed printers.
