Questions about this item

How do I install the DX7 print head cover on the 189000 model and what step is commonly missed?

Remove the old cover, align the new cover's mounting holes with the print head, secure it with the original screws, and ensure the ink tubes seat fully into the manifold ports — the tube seating is the step most often missed.

What maintenance will the DX7 print head cover need on the 196010 printer?

Inspect the cover for cracks or solvent residue monthly; wipe the exterior with a lint-free cloth and replace the cover if the manifold seals show wear or if ink leaks appear around the adapter.
