YINGHUA ECO Solvent Ink Filter for Polaris 512

This pack contains five replacement ink filters built for Polaris 512 Spectra printheads. They suit eco-solvent and UV ink systems found in Flora, Infinity, Phaeton, Human and JHF flatbed printers. Each filter removes particles down to 2.5 um to protect the printhead from blockages. The filters connect to standard 4 by 3 mm ink tubes.

Thermals, noise and power draw in normal use

These filters have no moving parts and draw no power, so they add no heat or noise to the printer. The 45 mm diameter housing fits inline without restricting normal ink flow. By trapping contaminants at 2.5 um they maintain consistent ink quality and reduce the risk of printhead clogging during extended print runs.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 45mm filter onto the 4*3mm ink tube without causing leaks?

Push the tube firmly over the barbed fitting until it seats fully; the tight interference fit seals without clamps, but verify the tube end is cut square and free of burrs so the barb grips evenly.

When should I replace the 2.5 um filter on a Polaris 512 Spectra printhead?

Swap it at the first sign of nozzle drop-out or increased head pressure, typically every 3–6 months depending on ink volume, because the fine pores trap particles that cannot be back-flushed.
