24-Inch Encoder Strip for DesignJet Printers

This 24-inch encoder strip is a new printhead supply designed for HP DesignJet Z3100, Z3200, Z2100, T1100, T610, T620 and T790 large-format printers. It provides the position-tracking surface the printhead reads during every pass. Print shops and in-house graphics departments replacing a worn or damaged strip use this part to restore accurate carriage positioning.

Sustained Operation on Compatible Plotters

The strip maintains its optical pattern through continuous daily printing without the signal degradation that can appear on aged or contaminated originals. It withstands the repeated back-and-forth travel of the carriage across the full 24-inch width during long roll-feed jobs. Shops running high-volume CAD or poster queues will not see positional drift develop mid-run. It is not for printers outside the listed DesignJet series or for users needing a different strip length.
