Dual M.2 SSD dock with SD reader
The YINGHUA K3016SD accepts two M.2 solid-state drives simultaneously, supporting both SATA and NVMe protocols in sizes 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110. It also reads standard SD cards and SD Express 7.0 / 7.1 cards up to 4 TB. A vertical open design makes drive insertion and removal quick, while bottom cooling holes and a non-slip silicone pad keep the unit stable on a desk.
10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface limit
The dock connects via a USB Type-C port using the included Type-C to Type-C cable rated for USB 3.1 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps. This bandwidth caps the maximum sequential transfer speed for any installed NVMe drive or SD Express card. SATA M.2 drives will operate at their native SATA 6 Gbps ceiling, so the USB link does not become the bottleneck for those devices.
Check host port and cable before ordering
Your computer must provide a USB Type-C or Type-A port that supports USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) to reach the advertised throughput; older USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports will reduce performance. The package supplies a Type-C to Type-C data cable and a Type-C to Type-A power cable, so verify which connector matches your host. M.2 drives are limited to 2 TB each, and the dock requires no external power adapter.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 2242, 2260, 2280 or 22110 M.2 size for my drive?
The dock accepts all four lengths — 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 — so choose the one that matches the physical size of the SSD you already own.
What does the 10 Gbps rating mean when I connect this to my laptop?
It is the maximum bandwidth of the USB 3.1 Gen 2 link; real-world throughput will be lower and limited by the drive's own speed.
Does the Type-C cable support SATA or NVMe drives at full speed?
The included Type-C to Type-C cable is rated for USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps, which is the interface ceiling for both SATA and NVMe M.2 drives in this dock.
