Dual-Protocol M.2 Enclosure with 2 TB Limit
This YINGHUA enclosure converts M.2 SATA and NVMe SSDs to USB-C. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 modules with M-key or B+M-key notches. The aluminium shell doubles as a heatsink and the RTL9210B controller handles both protocols. Maximum supported capacity is 2 TB.
Suits Users with Mixed M.2 Drives and USB-C Hosts
Builders who own both SATA and NVMe M.2 sticks and want a single dock for USB-C laptops or desktops will benefit. It does not suit users who need more than 2 TB of addressable space, teams requiring hardware RAID or encryption, or anyone whose host only offers USB-A without a separate adapter.
RTL9210B Controller Decides Protocol and Capacity
The RTL9210B main controller enables dual-protocol operation and enforces the 2 TB ceiling. If your SSD exceeds that limit or uses a protocol outside NGFF SATA and NVMe, the enclosure will not recognise it.
