- Tool-free plug-and-play setup works instantly without drivers
- Aluminium alloy shell spreads heat to extend SSD lifespan
- Includes USB-C-to-A and USB-C-to-C cables for any port
- Accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form-factor drives up to 2TB
Dual-protocol M.2 enclosure
The YINGHUA enclosure accepts M.2 SSDs using either the NVMe or SATA protocol and connects them to a host through a USB-C port. It supports M-key and B+M-key modules in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. An aluminum-alloy shell provides passive heat dissipation. No driver installation is required.
USB-C interface limits
The USB-C output follows the SATA/USB specifications cited by the supplier, so transfer speed is bounded by the USB implementation on the host side. Both a USB-C-to-A cable and a USB-C-to-C cable are included, allowing connection to Type-A or Type-C ports without extra adapters. The RTL9210B controller handles the dual-protocol translation.
Maximum 2 TB capacity
The enclosure is rated for SSDs up to 2 TB; larger drives are not supported. Buyers who need to house a 4 TB or 8 TB module should choose a different enclosure. The SSD itself is not included.

Questions about this item
Which M.2 lengths does the enclosure accept?
It fits 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 SSDs, covering the common 2.2 × 3 cm up to 2.2 × 8 cm sizes.
What real-world throughput can I expect from the RTL9210B controller?
The RTL9210B bridges PCIe NVMe or SATA to USB 3.2 Gen 2, so an NVMe drive runs at up to 10 Gbps while a SATA drive is limited to the SATA 6 Gbps ceiling.
Which USB standard does the Type-C port implement and what does that cap?
The Type-C output is USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), capping NVMe drives at that bandwidth while SATA drives hit their native 6 Gbps limit.
