Dual-Protocol M.2 Enclosure for NVMe and SATA SSDs
This aluminium-alloy case converts M.2 drives with M-key or B+M-key pinouts into a portable USB-C storage device. It accepts 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors up to 2 TB and requires no driver installation on supported operating systems.
USB-C Interface Limited to 10 Gbps Signalling
The enclosure uses a USB-C output that carries either NVMe or SATA traffic through the RTL9210B controller. Transfer speed will not exceed the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ceiling, so drives capable of higher PCIe throughput will be bottlenecked by the link.
2 TB Capacity Ceiling
The RTL9210B firmware caps recognised storage at 2 TB, making larger SSDs unsuitable regardless of their physical length or protocol. Buyers needing 4 TB or 8 TB volumes must choose a different enclosure.
