Questions about this item

Will this roller fit the MFC-J825DW I already use alongside an older MFC-J425W?

Yes, the roller is listed for both the MFC-J825DW and the MFC-J425W, so one part covers the two printers you keep.

How can I confirm the roller is feeding correctly after I install it?

Print a test page from the control panel; smooth, single-sheet pickup with no misfeeds or double-feeds shows the roller is working as intended.
