Compatible print head for FTP-628MCL101

This 58 mm thermal print head is designed as a direct replacement for the FTP-628MCL101 printer core. It suits technicians and operators maintaining two-inch thermal printing equipment in retail, logistics or kiosk environments. The part matches the GP-5860XIII specification for drop-in installation.

Thermal operation with no active cooling

The print head uses resistive heating elements on a ceramic substrate, so it runs silently without fans or liquid cooling. Power draw scales with the density of the printed pattern and the selected print speed. Normal use produces only modest warmth at the contact line.

Questions about this item

How do I install the YINGHUA FTP-628MCL101 print head into my 58mm thermal printer?

Power off the printer and open the cover. Release the print-head latch, align the 58mm head with the carriage guide, and press firmly until it clicks. Reconnect the flexible cable securely before closing the cover.

When should I replace the FTP-628MCL101 print head and how can I tell it is wearing out?

Replace the head when receipts show faded lines, missing dots, or uneven darkness across the 58mm width. Clean the heating elements with isopropyl alcohol first; if print quality does not return, install a new YINGHUA head.
