Questions about this item

How can I confirm the printhead carriage is working correctly after installing it in my Canon PIXMA MX478?

Run a nozzle check from the printer maintenance menu; a clean grid pattern without gaps shows the carriage is moving and firing ink properly.

What comes in the box with this YINGHUA printhead carriage and do I need to buy ink cartridges separately?

The package contains the printhead carriage unit only; compatible Canon ink cartridges must be purchased separately for the MX378, MX398, MX438, MX458, MX470, MX478, MX518, MX528 or MX538.
