Replacement printhead for FTP-628MCL101

This YINGHUA printhead fits the FTP-628MCL101 thermal printer core and supports a 58 mm print width. It is a new component designed for direct installation in compatible two-inch thermal printers. The RM-40II designation identifies the specific mechanical fit for this model.

Upgrades a worn or damaged original printhead

The swap is worthwhile when print quality fades, lines go missing or the head fails completely. It is not suited for printers that use a different core width or a different mounting pattern. Buyers needing a wider print area or a different interface should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What printer models accept the 58 mm FTP-628MCL101 printhead?

The printhead is built for the FTP-628MCL101 two-inch thermal printer core, also referenced as the RM-40II, and fits that 58 mm mechanism directly.

Which connector orientation does the FTP-628MCL101 printhead require during installation?

Align the flexible flat cable with the keyed socket on the printer board so the contacts face the correct side; forcing it reversed is the common mistake that bends pins.
