This YINGHUA printhead replaces the QY6-0061 unit in Canon Pixma MP600R, iP4300, iP5200R, iP5200, MP830, MP800, MP800R and MP600 printers. It is a new component designed for owners of these specific models who need to restore printing function. The part installs directly into the carriage without modification. Buyers who need colour output should not purchase this item.

Black-Only Printing Restriction

The manufacturer highlights state this printhead can only print black ink. It will not produce cyan, magenta or yellow output, so documents and photos requiring colour will not print correctly. No ink cartridges, cleaning kits or installation tools are included in the package. Users must supply their own compatible black ink tanks separately.

Questions about this item

Will the QY6-0061 printhead need periodic cleaning or full replacement after heavy black-only printing?

The QY6-0061 is a user-replaceable printhead; Canon printers signal when nozzles cannot be recovered by cleaning cycles, at which point the unit is swapped for a new QY6-0061.

What is the first limit reached during long black-only print runs with the QY6-0061?

The ink tanks empty before the printhead overheats; the printer pauses automatically when a tank reports empty, so ink capacity is the practical limit.
