Questions about this item

How is the QY6-0064 printhead installed in a Canon iP3000, and which step is often missed?

Open the printer cover, wait for the carriage to centre, lift the locking lever, remove the old head, insert the QY6-0064 until it clicks, lower the lever, then run the automatic alignment from the maintenance menu; skipping alignment causes misregistered colours.

What maintenance will the QY6-0064 need on a Canon MP730, and when should it be replaced?

Run the built-in cleaning cycle when prints show gaps; if deep cleaning fails to restore nozzles, replace the head — typical life spans several thousand pages depending on usage and ink type.
