Printhead WF-2860 for EcoTank printers

This printhead replaces the WF-2860 nozzle assembly in compatible EcoTank models. It matches part numbers FA35001 and FA35011 for direct installation. The unit suits owners of L6160, L6161, L6168, L6170, L6176, L6178, L6180, L6190, L6198 and ET-15000 printers. It restores print quality when the original head wears out or clogs beyond cleaning.

Not for printers outside the listed EcoTank series

Buyers with non-EcoTank models or different printhead part numbers cannot use this component. The part has no moving cooling parts and draws negligible power during normal printing. Operation is silent aside from the printer's own mechanism noise. No thermal management is required beyond standard printer ventilation.

Questions about this item

How do I install the WF-2860 printhead on my EcoTank L6176, and what step is often missed?

Power off the L6176, open the carriage, unlock the old head, fit the FA35001 unit, relock the lever, then run the printer’s head-alignment routine — skipping alignment causes banding.

What maintenance will the FA35011 nozzle need after installation?

Run the built-in cleaning cycle only when print quality drops; keep the EcoTank ink tanks topped up so the FA35011 never fires dry, and replace the head when nozzles stay blocked after two deep cleans.
