Compatible Canon Pixma Models

This YINGHUA QY6-0073 printhead replaces the original part in Canon Pixma MP540 MP568 iP3600 MP560 MP558 iP3680 MG5140 MG5120 printers. It is a new replacement component for users whose print quality has degraded due to a worn or clogged original head. The part number matches QY6-0073-000 for direct substitution.

Sustained Printing Behaviour

Under continuous operation the printhead maintains consistent nozzle firing across long documents or photo batches. Thermal management keeps ink viscosity stable so droplet placement does not drift after the first few pages. It is not suited for printers outside the listed model range or for users needing a complete ink supply system.

Questions about this item

Does the QY6-0073 printhead generate noticeable noise or heat during continuous daily printing?

The QY6-0073 printhead operates silently with no moving parts; only the printer carriage motor produces sound, and the head itself stays cool during normal use.

Which ink cartridges must I already have installed for the QY6-0073 to function in my Pixma MP560?

The QY6-0073 requires Canon PGI-5 black and CLI-8 colour cartridges (or compatible equivalents) to be present and recognised by the printer before printing.
