YINGHUA QY6-0073 Printhead for Canon PIXMA MX MG

This replacement printhead is manufactured by YINGHUA for specific Canon PIXMA models. It fits MX860, MX868, MX870, MX878, MG5110, MG5120, MG5130, MG5140, MG5150, MG5180 and MP620 printers. The part is supplied new and is designated for black ink output only. It restores print function when the original head fails.

Capacity and headroom

The head handles black text and graphics for the listed PIXMA models. It does not support colour channels, so colour printing remains unavailable if those nozzles are blocked. Users needing full colour output or a head for other Canon series should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the QY6-0073 printhead fit my older Canon MX860 without any adapter?

The QY6-0073 is listed for the MX860, MX868, MX870 and MX878 models, so it installs directly into those printers.

How can I confirm the QY6-0073 is printing correctly after I install it?

Run a nozzle-check pattern from the printer maintenance menu; all black segments should appear solid with no gaps or streaks.
