Compatible thermal print head for POS5870

This YINGHUA print head is a direct replacement for the MY POS POS5870, BS160KII, G-58P, ef-830 and eg-s20d thermal printers. It restores sharp receipt output when the original head wears out or is damaged. Retail and hospitality operators can swap the module without specialised tools.

Upgrade from a faded or streaky original head

Replace the factory head when print quality drops below readable levels or when missing lines appear on receipts. The jump is worth it if downtime costs more than the part and the printer chassis remains sound. Buyers needing colour output or wider paper formats should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this print head fit the 58 mm paper width used in the POS5870?

Yes, the head is built for 58 mm thermal paper and matches the POS5870 chassis dimensions.

What is the common installation mistake when fitting this head into the BS160KII?

Forgetting to latch the flex cable fully into the connector before tightening the mounting screws, which causes missing lines on the first test print.
