TMC2130 Driver Set for 3D Printers
This pack contains four TMC2130 stepper motor driver modules, each fitted with a heatsink. They are designed for two-phase stepper motors running at 12 V or 24 V DC with a continuous current of 1.2 A and a peak of 2 A. The standard SPI interface connects directly to SKR 2 or SKR boards after the jumper cap is set. Makers upgrading a printer’s motion control will find the 256 microstep resolution useful.
Silent Running Under Continuous Load
The drivers reduce motor noise to below 10 dB at low velocities, keeping operation quiet during long prints. A large-area cooling surface on each module dissipates heat efficiently, so temperatures stay low even when the motors run for hours. Steady torque is maintained without the whine common in traditional current controllers.
Replaces Noisier Legacy Drivers
These modules replace older driver boards that lack SPI control or 256 microstep capability. The upgrade is worth it when print quality suffers from audible motor vibration or when the controller board supports SPI but the original drivers do not. They are not suited for systems that require higher current than 2 A peak or voltages outside the 12 V to 24 V range.

Questions about this item
How quiet are the TMC2130 drivers when the printer runs all day?
Motor noise is below 10 dB at low speeds, so operation stays near-silent even during long prints.
What controller board must I already have to use the SPI interface?
A board with native SPI support such as an SKR 2 or SKR series lets you connect the jumper cap and drive the modules directly.
Will these drivers work with my existing 12 V or 24 V power supply?
Yes, each module accepts 12 V or 24 V DC input, matching the voltage of most common printer power supplies.
