UV ink tube for wide-format printers

This replacement supply line ships as a 7-metre clear hose with a 4 by 3 millimetre cross-section. It carries six separate channels so a single run feeds all colour paths to the print head. The tubing is built for UV-curable inks and fits Epson XP600, TX800, DX4, DX5 and DX7 heads as well as Mimaki, Mutoh, Xuli and Galaxy wide-format machines.

Thermals noise and power draw

The hose itself is a passive fluid conduit so it generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no electrical power during operation. Ink temperature is managed by the printer’s own heating system rather than the supply line. Routing the tube away from hot components prevents unwanted ink viscosity changes. Installers should avoid sharp bends that could restrict flow and cause pressure spikes in the delivery system.

Questions about this item

How do I route the six clear 4×3 mm lines from the 7 m coil to an XP600 print head?

Unroll each line, cut to the exact run needed, then push the tube ends onto the head barbs until they seat fully; the step most people skip is verifying every connection for leaks before priming.

When should the clear 4×3 mm UV ink tubes be replaced on a DX7 printer?

Replace the tubing when it turns yellow, stiffens, or shows micro-cracks — typically after extended UV exposure or if ink flow becomes inconsistent.
