Embedded X99 dual-Xeon server board

This embedded solution bundles an X99 motherboard with two Intel Xeon E5-2696 V3 processors and eight 16 GB DDR4 2400 RECC memory modules. The board is supplied new and targets workloads that benefit from many threads and registered ECC memory.

Suited for multi-threaded server tasks

Buyers who need a compact desktop form factor or consumer-grade features such as integrated graphics and audio should consider other platforms. Systems requiring a different socket, memory generation or single-processor layout are not addressed by this kit.

Questions about this item

What limits sustained performance on this dual E5-2696 V3 board?

The X99 F8D PLUS motherboard and its VRM cooling define the thermal ceiling when both XEON CPUs run at full load.

How loud or hot does the system get during all-day operation?

Eight DDR4 2400 RECC modules plus two XEON processors mean steady fan noise and significant case heat under continuous load.
