Aluminium enclosure holds one M.2 NVME drive up to 4 TB, delivers 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds with UASP and TRIM, includes RGB lighting and a 2-in-1 USB-C/A cable supporting 60 W PD charging
Material Aluminum
Size M.2 NVME 10GBPS
The Yottamaster M.2 enclosure connects a single NVMe SSD over USB 3.1 Gen 2 at 10Gbps. An aluminum body with thermal pad and fin structure keeps the drive under 53°C after 24 hours of full workload. RGB lighting on the top adds a gaming accent. A 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C/A cable with 60W Power Delivery is included.
This enclosure fits 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 M-Key or B+M-Key NVMe SSDs up to 4TB. UASP and TRIM support maintain performance on Windows, Mac and Linux. Buyers who need Thunderbolt 3 connectivity or a built-in cooling fan should look at other designs. The single-bay layout also means only one drive can be used at a time.
The external connection tops out at 10Gbps, delivering real-world sequential speeds up to 985MB/s with a capable NVMe drive. This bandwidth ceiling is the deciding factor: if your workflow demands Thunderbolt or USB4 speeds, this enclosure will not meet that need.

Other versions of this model
Slide the 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 M-Key or B+M-Key drive into the M.2 slot, secure it with the screw, then apply the thermal pad onto the controller before closing the aluminum sandwich case — skipping the pad is the common mistake.
The thermal pad can dry out after long use; replace it with a same-thickness pad to keep the 10 °C – 30 °C cooling effect and maintain the under-53 °C temperature after 24 hours of full workload.
The thermal ceiling: the enclosure is rated to stay under 53 °C after 24 hours of continuous full-load operation, so prolonged writes will hit that temperature ceiling before the 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface saturates.
