Dual-band RP-SMA antenna pair

This YOUHUA two-pack supplies dual-band antennas for wireless equipment that uses RP-SMA male connectors. The set covers 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands with 3 dBi gain each. It suits routers, access points, USB adapters, PCIe network cards, IP cameras, DVR recorders, FPV gear and industrial IoT gateways.

RP-SMA male connector requirement

Every antenna terminates in an RP-SMA male plug — a centre hole without a pin — so the host device must present a matching RP-SMA female jack. Mismatched SMA or other connector types will not mate with these antennas.

Frees router ports for other devices

Screw the antennas directly onto compatible equipment to extend wireless reach without occupying USB or PCIe slots. The dual-band coverage lets a single pair serve both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz links, leaving extra expansion interfaces free for additional peripherals.

Questions about this item

What does the 3 dBi gain mean when the antennas are attached to my router?

The 3 dBi rating gives modest signal focus in horizontal directions, helping extend WiFi 2 coverage across a single floor without adding height.

How does the RP-SMA male connector limit which devices I can use these with?

The RP-SMA male plug fits only female RP-SMA jacks found on many routers, PCIe cards, USB adapters and IP cameras; it will not mate with standard SMA or other antenna ports.

What clearance do the antennas need behind my equipment to mount properly?

Each antenna extends roughly 82 mm from the connector, so allow at least that much depth behind the device for straight mounting or a gentle bend.
