  • Two antennas included for MIMO performance

Dual-band SMA antenna pair

This two-pack provides dual-band WiFi antennas with 8 dBi gain and SMA male connectors. They operate on 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies to extend wireless coverage. The antennas are designed for plug-and-play installation on compatible devices.

Suited for routers and adapters with SMA ports

These antennas fit wireless routers, network adapters, PCIe WiFi cards and similar equipment that use SMA connectors. They are not suitable for devices with RP-SMA, MMCX or proprietary antenna ports. Buyers needing magnetic bases or longer pigtail cables should consider other options.

8 dBi gain on 2.4 and 5.8 GHz

The 8 dBi gain specification determines the signal boost and directional focus these antennas provide. Higher gain narrows the vertical beamwidth, which improves range but reduces coverage directly above or below the antenna. Verify that your device supports external SMA antennas before purchasing.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SMA antenna on my router, and what step do people often miss?

Screw the SMA male connector onto the router's SMA female port by hand until snug; the step often missed is aligning the threads before turning to avoid cross-threading.

What maintenance will these 8dBi antennas need over time?

No scheduled maintenance is required; occasionally check the SMA connections for tightness and wipe the antenna housing with a dry cloth if dust accumulates.

What is the first limit I will hit when using these dual-band antennas under heavy load?

The 8dBi gain improves signal reach, but the practical limit under sustained use is the router's own transmit power and client device sensitivity, not the antenna itself.
